KFIZ History Part Of Main Street Open House

Part of KFIZ’s history will be featured when the Fond du Lac Main Street program participates in a statewide open house event on Saturday, May 14th. Fifteen communities in the state’s Main Street program will be participating in the event. The event is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It will feature the Combined Building, the current Slim & Chubby’s which is housed in a building built in the 1890s, the Riverwalk Art Center on 2nd Street, and the Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts. The current Haber M&M Printing at 18 Forest Avenue will also be featured. That building housed the original KFIZ Broadcasting Booth. It’s also the first day of the season for the Farmers Market.
