–Geneva Hewitt scored 23 points, Kaylee Frey added 18 in the win for WLA. Becca Kingsland scored 16 points for North Fondy in the loss.

–Syd Schultz scored 20 points to lead Mayville, Hailey Johnston scored 11 points for Lomira in the loss

Girls Hockey:

FDL Warbirds/Beaver Dam Alliance 4, #1 Fox Cities 3

–The Warbirds scored three goals in the second period to knock off the top-ranked Stars on the road.

North Fond du Lac/St. Mary’s Springs 52, Winnebago Lutheran 29

–The Oriole/Ledger team is now 4-0 in conference, getting five pins in the win over Winnebago Lutheran. WLA picked up wins in the dual meet from Jacob Bilitz (113 pounds), Josh Roloff (132), Micah Hinds (138), Josh Huey (170) and Ryan Jacobs (285).

The WIsconsin Badgers return to action tonight against the Purdue Boilermakers at the Kohl Center. Wisconsin is 3-1 in the Big Ten and 11-4 overall, while Purdue sits at 2-2 in conference and 9-6 overall. Tipoff time is 8pm, we’ll join coverage in progress after high school basketball on KFIZ.

College Hoops News:

The Wisconsin Men’s Basketball team will play a home-and-home series with the Tennessee Volunteers beginning next year. The Badgers and Volunteers will meet in Knoxville in December 2019 and then play in Madison in November of 2020. The teams last played a series in 2000 and 2001, with each team defending their home court. Wisconsin won the most recent meeting in 2016, 74-62 at the Maui Invitational.
