–Jack Flynn scored 28 points and grabbed 15 rebounds to lead the Titans to their 16th win in a row.

Marian’s home game against Aurora scheduled for Wednesday night was postponed due to weather. A make up date is TBA.

Big Ten:

Wisconsin 72, Illinois 60

–Nate Ruevers scored 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds- one of four players in double figures as the Badgers downed the Illini in Champaign Wednesday night. Wisconsin led by two at halftime, but outscored Illinois 40-30 in the second half to pull away. D’Mitrik Trice added 16 points, Kahlil Iverson 12 points and Brad Davison scored 10 for Wisconsin – who improves to 5-3 in the Big Ten and 13-6 overall. The Badgers host Northwestern on Saturday.

Purdue 79, Ohio State 67

Big East:

Marquette 79, DePaul 69

–Markus Howard scored 23 points – going a perfect 15 for 15 at the free thorw line to lead Marquette past DePaul at Fiserv Forum Wednesday night. Sam Hauser added 19 points, Theo John had 16 points and 10 rebounds, while Joey Hauser had 14 for the Golden Eagles. Marquette improves to 6-1 in conference and 17-3 overall, they play at Xavier on Saturday.

Marian’s game at Aurora scheduled for Tuesday has been rescheduled for Monday night – January 28th. Tipoff time is 7pm.

NBA:

The Bucks are at home against the Hornets tomorrow night.  Milwaukee will look to extend a five-game winning streak after Monday’s victory over Dallas.  The Bucks are 16-and-3 in their last 19 games and 34-and-12 overall, percentage-points ahead of Toronto atop the East.

Baseball:

After winning the NL Central last year, the Brewers are rewarding general manager David Stearns.  They’ve promoted him to president of baseball operations while also extending his contract. Stearns has been the Brewers’ GM since October 2015. The Crew have also promoted Rick Schlesinger to president of business operations.
