–Brooke Butler scored 23 points to lead the Cardinals in the loss to the Orioles

Boys Hockey:

–Brady Welsch scored three goals to lead the Ledgers in the win

Girls Hockey: 

Arrowhead 5, FDL Warbirds 4

–The Warhawks scored four goals in the third period to defeat the Warbirds

Amateur Hockey: 

West Bend 4, Fond du Lac 3 (Shootout)

–The Bears drop their season opener on the road Friday night. Fond du Lac plays at Mosinee next Friday and Saturday

Men’s College Basketball: 

Big East: 

Marquette 64, Georgetown 60

–Jamal Cain scored 25 points to lead the Golden Eagles past the Hoyas on the road. Marquette outscored Georgetown 44-24 in the second half to secure the win, after trailing by 16 at halftime. Marquette hosts UConn on Tuesday night.

–Sunday’s men’s basketball game between Wisconsin and Penn State has been postponed “due to health and safety concerns”. The two teams mutually agreed upon the postponement, and will work with the Big Ten to reschedule the game. The Badgers will return to action against Indiana on Thursday night.
