NFL: 

When the postseason arrives the Packers record against N-F-C North opponents could be a factor. Green Bay will try to stay unbeaten within the division tonight when it hosts Detroit on Monday Night Football. The Packers opened the 2019 season with back-to-back wins over division foes Chicago and Minnesota, and bring a four-and-one overall record into the game, while Detroit is two-one-and-one. The Lions have beaten the Packers four straight times. Kickoff tonight is 7:20, coverage starts at 5 on our sister station, 107.1 The Bull. 

Green Bay will be without their top receiver, as Davante Adams has been ruled out for the second straight game with a toe injury. Rookie safety Darnell Savage and tight end Robert Tonyan are also “Out” tonight.

Minnesota 38, Philadelphia 20

–Kirk Cousins threw for 333 yards and four touchdowns in the win for the Vikings. Minnesota improves to 4-2 and visits Detroit next Sunday

NBA: 

Milwaukee 115, Washington 108

–Milwaukee stays unbeaten in preseason play, moving to 4-0 with the Bucks’ 115-108 preseason win at Washington Sunday.  Khris Middleton scored 22 points, while Giannis Antetokounmpo missed the action due to illness. The margin in the ballgame came at the free-throw line where the Bucks connected on 23-of-24 and the Wizards missed half of their 26 free shots. Milwaukee has one more preseason game at home against the Timberwolves Thursday. The regular season opener is a week from Thursday in Houston.

American League Championship Series: 

Houston 3, New York 2 (11 Innings)

–Carlos Correa hit a walk-off home run to give the Astros the win in game two and even the series at one game apiece. Game two is Tuesday in New York. 

Tonight – the Nationals look to take a three games-to-none series lead over the Cardinals as the National League Championship Series resumes in Washington D.C. Stephen Strasburg gets the start for Washington against Jack Flaherty for St. Louis. First pitch is just after 6:30 pm.
