Wisconsin dropped out of both national polls this week after their 31-17 loss on the road at Northwestern on Saturday. Wisconsin was at number 19 in the coaches poll and at number 20 in the AP Poll before their loss – which saw the Badgers lose three fumbles that led to 17 points for the Wildcats. Sophomore quarterback Jack Coan had 158 yards passing and threw for a touchdown to Kendric Pryor in the loss – that score came with Northwestern already ahead 31-10 and the outcome no longer in doubt. The Badgers host 1-7 Rutgers on Saturday – the Scarlet Knights were off Saturday after losing a close game to Northwestern the previous week 18-15.

In the AP Top 25, the top 5 teams remain unchanged from last week with Alabama, Clemson, Notre Dame, LSU and Michigan holding down the top five.
