–Giannis Antetokounmpo had 14 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists to lead the Bucks to a home win over the Cavaliers at Fiserv Forum. Khris Middleton led all scorers with 21 points, while George Hill chipped in 19 points in 19 minutes off the bench for Milwaukee, who improves to 2-1 on the year. The Bucks play nine of their next 11 games on the road – starting with a game in Boston against the Celtics Wednesday night.

Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones is developing into the biggest receiving threat out of the backfield in the N-F-L. Jones caught seven passes for 159 yards against the Chiefs Sunday night, including receptions of 50 and 67 yards. The third-year pro is developing into the offensive force his team always thought he could be.  Halfway through the season, the 24-year-old is on pace for more than 900 rushing yards, more than 700 receiving yards and 22 touchdowns.

The kickoff time for the Packers’ week 10 game against the Carolina Panthers has been changed. The game on November 10th at Lambeau Field will now kickoff at 3:25 pm after being changed from a Noon kickoff on Monday. The game will air on Fox.

Monday Night Football:

–Mason Rudolph threw for two touchdowns and James Conner ran for another as the Steelers kept the Dolphins winless on the year.  

College Football: 

Both the Badgers and Iowa Hawkeyes have a week off before their showdown for the Heartland Trophy at Camp Randall Stadium on November 9th. That battle between Big Ten rivals will kickoff at 3 pm on the 9th, and will be broadcast to a national audience on Fox. Both Wisconsin and Iowa are currently tied for second in the Big Ten West with 3-2 records. Wisconsin has lost two straight to Illinois and Ohio State, while Iowa has won two in a row over Purdue and Northwestern. Minnesota leads the Big Ten west with a 5-0 record and is 8-0 overall. 


Online reports name Milwaukee Brewers bench coach Pat Murphy as a contender for the challenging position of managing the Mets.  Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic joins several columnists saying Murphy has a good shot at the job. He’s managed before – in the college ranks – leading Notre Dame and Arizona State to nearly 950 victories.  He also led the San Diego Padres for a half-season in 2015 after Bud Black was fired.

World Series – Game Six: 

Washington at Houston

–Stephen Strasburg starts for the Nationals against Justin Verlander for the Astros. First pitch is just after 7pm central time. A win gives the Astros the World Series title, while a victory for Washington would force a Game Seven on Wednesday.
