>>Stats Say Packers Offensive Line Among NFL’s Best

(Green Bay, WI)  —  Despite having some players sidelined with injuries and others forced to switch positions, the Green Bay Packers offensive line is emerging as one of the NFL’s best.  Only the Indianapolis Colts have allowed fewer sacks than the eight Green Bay has given up – and five of those came in one game against the Buccaneers.  The Packers are on a pace to allow just 21 sacks this season while dealing with enough lineup combinations to cause big problems.  Aaron Rodgers is playing a role by releasing his passes quicker.  That makes it easier on the linemen because they don’t have to sustain their blocks so long.

>>Nebraska Attempt To Replace Wisconsin Game Rejected By Big Ten

(Lincoln, NE)  —  The Nebraska Cornhuskers didn’t want to just sit around this weekend after having the game against Wisconsin called off.  It looks like that’s what they are going to be doing anyway.  The Big Ten Conference has rejected a Cornhusker request to replace the Wisconsin game with a non-conference contest against Tennessee-Chattanooga.  The Big Ten doesn’t want a team outside its testing protocol to create the risk of spreading COVID-19.  Nebraska team officials are philosophical, say they are excited to move forward with preparations for Northwestern in a week.

>>Oladipo-To-Bucks Rumors Gaining Some Traction

(Milwaukee, WI)  —  The rumors of an NBA trade that would bring All-Star Victor Oladipo to Milwaukee have been around for a couple of weeks.  Now, they’re gaining some traction. TheRinger-dot-com is reporting there have been discussions between Indiana and the Bucks.  Milwaukee is trying to bounce back from another disappointing postseason and add a strong player to the lineup alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo.  Oladipo was a two-time All-Star in 2018 and 2019 but played only 19 games this past season.  While bouncing back from a ruptured tendon, he averaged 14-and-a-half points-a-game.  It’s likely Indiana would want to get a return based on his previous performances – and that might be a problem.

>>Wisconsin Football Reports More Positive COVID-19 Test Results

(Madison, WI)  —  The Wisconsin football program reports it is up to 16 active COVID-19 cases after two staff members and one player tested positive.  Fifteen of the new cases have been confirmed since last Saturday.  Everything is on hold in Madison and the earliest football activities could resume is next Wednesday.  Head coach Paul Chryst is sidelined until Saturday, November 7th, after his positive test result was confirmed.  Players who haven’t recorded positive tests are spending their time at a local hotel to keep them separated and mitigate the spread of the virus.  They are still taking part in the daily testing.  U-W officials say their next report on the situation will come Saturday.
