–Jonathan Taylor ran for 204 yards and two touchdowns as the Badgers beat Nebraska to keep pace in the Big Ten West division race. After today’s game, Taylor now has 5,634 career rushing yards, good for second place on the Big Ten’s all-time rushing list – and a total that now pushes him past Herschel Walker for the most ever by an FBS player through his junior season. With the win, Wisconsin has now beaten Nebraska seven straight times. Wisconsin plays host to Purdue next Saturday – kickoff is set for 3 pm.

–Hawkeyes quarterback Nate Stanley threw for two touchdowns as Iowa handed the Gophers their first loss of the season.

Men’s College Basketball: 

The Wisconsin and Marquette men’s basketball teams renew their in-state rivalry this afternoon at the Kohl Center. The Golden Eagles rallied past Purdue 66-55 Wednesday night to improve to 2-and-0. The 2-and-1 Badgers hit seven three-pointers in a 83-63 win over McNeese State at home on Wednesday. U-W sophomore Kobe King did not play due to a leg injury. Marquette won last season’s matchup 74-69 behind 27 points from Markus Howard. Listen to the game on KFIZ – coverage starts at 11 am, tipoff is at Noon.
