>>UW Basketball Schedule Released, Season Starts Nov. 25

(Chicago, IL)  —  The official release of the Big Ten Conference basketball schedule confirms the first game for the Wisconsin Badgers will be played November 25th. Eastern Illinois will visit the Kohl Center.  One of the highlights of the Badgers’ non-conference schedule is a game against Louisville in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.  Wisconsin’s conference schedule opens with a home game against Nebraska December 21st.  The U-W Athletics Department has already announced that no fans will be in attendance at Badger home games in the Kohl Center due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

>>Packers Could Get Both CBs Back For Game Against Colts

(Green Bay, WI)  —  The Green Bay Packers have a good chance to get both starting cornerbacks back in the lineup for Sunday’s game at Indianapolis.  Jaire Alexander and Kevin King missed the Jacksonville game.  King has been sidelined for the last five games, but he was a full participant at team practice Wednesday.  Alexander and wide receiver Davante Adams were limited participants.  Adams injured an ankle during the 24-20 win.  Another receiver, Allen Lazard, was also a limited participant Wednesday.  That was his first practice after returning from the team’s injured reserve list.

>>Bucks Trade For Bogdan Bogdanovic Falls Apart

(Sacramento, CA)  —  A decision by the player to enter restricted free agency appears to mean one of the two blockbuster trades by the Milwaukee Bucks announced this week has fallen apart.  The Bucks and Sacramento Kings had planned to bring the framework of the deal to Bogdanovic as free agency got underway so he and general manager Jon Horst could work out an agreement.  The deal as it was announced early Tuesday morning had appeared to violate the NBA’s tampering rules.  Players and teams can’t officially talk deals until 5:00 p-m Friday. This slows the Bucks’ work to get Giannis Antetokounmpo signed up on a super-max deal.  Sunday is the first day he could sign it while the team scrambles to come up with at least one more solid starter.

>>Bucks Take Louisville Sharpshooter Jordan Nwora In Second Round Of Draft

(Undated)  —  The Milwaukee Bucks drafted Louisville Cardinal sharpshooter Jordan Nwora in the second round of Wednesday night’s 2020 NBA Draft. The six-foot-seven forward averaged 18 points and almost eight rebounds-a-game, while connecting on more than 40 percent of his 3-pointers.  The Bucks had traded their first-round pick to New Orleans as part of the Jrue Holiday trade.  Milwaukee was trying to trade for more shooters earlier in the week and the team thinks it might have snagged on in Nwora.
