St. Mary’s Springs 7, Eau Claire Regis 0
–The Ledgers took the opening kickoff and marched 80 yards in 19 plays, with Marcus Orlandoni capping off the drive with a one-yard score to put Springs up 7-0. The drive took 10 minutes and nine seconds off the clock – leaving Regis to touch the ball for the first time with just 1:51 left in the opening quarter. That one score was all the Ledgers would need – as their defense did the rest, holding the Ramblers to just 134 total yards (131 rush, 3 pass) in the contest.
With the victory, St. Mary’s Springs wins its third title in a row and its ninth WIAA State Championship and its 17th overall championship, when its eight WISAA titles are factored in. The Ledgers close the season 12-2, winners of 12 in a row after an 0-2 start. Regis finishes 13-1.

–Nate Reuvers scored 19 points, one of six Badgers in double figures as Wisconsin defeated Green Bay at the Kohl Center Thursday night. Brad Davison chipped in 15 points as Wisconsin improved to 4-1 on the year. The Badgers take on Richmond in the Legends Classic in Brooklyn Monday night.

–Eric Bledsoe scored 30 points, with Giannis Antetokounmpo posting another double-double of 24 points and 15 rebounds as the Bucks won their sixth straight game to improve to 12-3 on the year. Milwaukee stays at home to host Detroit on Saturday night.
The Milwaukee Bucks have revealed their version of the new N-B-A “City” jerseys. Less than a week after the Brewers announced their new look, the Bucks called a Wednesday news conference for their “Cream City” jerseys. The uniforms are cream-colored with green and blue accents. They pay homage to the cream-colored bricks which give Milwaukee its unique look
College Football:
If Purdue is going to qualify for a bowl game the Boilermakers are going to have to end a 13-game losing streak against Wisconsin – and they’re going to have to do it with a fourth-string, walk-on quarterback. Purdue hasn’t beaten Wisconsin since 2003. Wisconsin won last year’s matchup in triple overtime in West Lafayette. The Badgers need the game just as badly as Purdue. A win means the November 30th game against Minnesota will be for the Big Ten West title and a berth in the conference championship game.

MLB:
All-Star catcher Yasmani Grandal is leaving the Milwaukee Brewers after one season. Grandal and the Chicago White Sox have agreed to a four-year deal worth 73-million dollars. It is the biggest contract in White Sox history. Grandal signed an 18-and-a-quarter-million-dollar, one-year contact last offseason with Milwaukee. The switch hitter had a career-high 28 home runs and 77 R-B-I for the Brewers in 2019. Grandal declined a 16-million-dollar option with Crew for 2020 to become a free agent. He thanked the Milwaukee Brewers organization and fans on social media on Thursday.
