College Football:

The Wisconsin football team held steady in this week’s rankings by the College Football Playoff Committee. The Badgers stayed at number 12 this week after their 45-24 win over unranked Purdue at Camp Randall Stadium. Wisconsin’s opponent this week, the Minnesota Golden Gophers climbed two spots to number eight in the poll. Ohio State takes over number one with LSU down to two, Clemson and Georgia remain at number three and number four.

With the bitter taste of last Sunday’s 37-8 disaster in San Francisco still lingering, the Green Bay Packers turn their attention to the postseason in less than two weeks. They still stand a good chance of making the N-F-L playoffs. Tickets for potential Wild Card or Divisional Playoff games go on sale December 5th.  The tickets are available online only and if the Packers don’t host one of the playoff games, the tickets will be refunded. The Wild Card game would be played the first week in January and the Divisional Playoff game the week after that, January 11th or 12th. The tickets would be good for either game.

College Hockey:
