The San Francisco 49ers will have a better idea of the size of their COVID-19 spread once contact tracing is completed and the team gets the results of additional testing this (Thursday) morning. The Packers had no additional positive test results this week, while San Francisco has had at least three since Tuesday. Green Bay players have a team meeting scheduled for this morning. Kickoff is set for 7:20 p-m at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California when the two teams meet for the third time in less than a year.

Men’s hockey is set to open its season November 13th – even though the complete Big Ten Conference schedule hasn’t been released. Men’s and women’s basketball can start November 25th, but their schedules are also in limbo. The U-W women’s hockey team, ranked number-one in Tuesday’s preseason poll, hasn’t been given a starting date by the Western Collegiate Hockey Association yet.
