Taylor carried the ball 299 times for 1,909 yards and 21 touchdowns through 13 games this season – he also has five touchdown receptions this year to go along with 209 receiving yards. The junior is sixth on the all-time rushing list in FBS football, and is the first player to surpass 6,000 rushing yards in three seasons.

A week after the Milwaukee Brewers non-tendered left-hander Alex Claudio, the team signed him to a one-year deal Monday worth one-point-75 million dollars. Claudio is a specialist against left-handed batters who could be affected by the new rule forcing pitchers to face at least three batters when they come into a game. He pitched in 83 games last year for Milwaukee.

The Brewers also signed infielder Ronny Rodriguez on Monday. Rodriguez played for the Detroit Tigers last season, hitting .221 with 14 homers and 43 runs batted in. The moves leave the Brewers with 34 players on their 40-man roster.
