His 130-yard rushing performance was highlight by a 77-yard touchdown run that clinched the win.  He broke five tackles on his way to the end zone and the longest scoring run of his career. Quarterback Aaron Rodges was chosen the NFC’s Offensive Player of the Week for the 18th time earlier in the day.

>>Badgers Expect To Lose Starting Center Lyles For Rest Of Season

(Madison, WI)  —  The Wisconsin Badgers expect to lose their starting center, Kayden Lyles, for the rest of the season.  Offensive coordinator Joe Rudolph says Lyles won’t be back in the next couple of weeks “for sure.”  The redshirt junior suffered the injury to his right leg early in last week’s 14-6 loss to Indiana.  Lyles had two surgeries in the offseason before playing well in the first three games.  Freshman Tanor Bortolini or redshirt junior Cormac Sampson will take his place Saturday at Iowa.  Sampson is trying to come back from an injury and his status isn’t known yet.

>>Big Ten To Change 6-Game Rule, Allowing Ohio State to Play For Title

(Undated)  —  The Big Ten Conference is changing the six-game minimum rule in football.  The move paves the way for fourth-ranked Ohio State to compete in the conference title game next week.  The news comes after the Buckeyes’ regular-season finale against Michigan on Saturday was canceled due to COVID-19 issues within the Wolverines’ program.  Under previous rules, OSU would not of been eligible to compete in the Big Ten title game after playing just five regular-season games.  Ohio State will clash with Northwestern in the title game one week from Saturday.
