–Caden Wittchow scored 15 points to lead the Spartans past the Hornets

Lomira 75, Oakfield 42

–Kenny Immel scored 16 points for Lomira in the win. Oakfield was led by Zach Seyfert with nine points in the loss.

Girls Basketball:

St. Mary’s Springs 42, Cedar Grove-Belgium 39

Winnebago Lutheran 56, New Holstein 39

–Kaylee Frey scored 14 points to lead WLA in the win.


Antigo 4, Fond du Lac 0

St. Mary’s Springs 6, Homestead 4

–Zach Welsch scored two goals for Springs in the win


Fond du Lac High School hosted the “Cardinal Invite” on Saturday. Fondy High placed seventh at their home meet with 107 team points, North Fond du Lac/St. Mary’s Springs placed 13th with 75 team points and Winnebago Lutheran placed 19th with 45 points.

Individual highlights:

Fond du Lac: Braelon Allen took second place at 182 pounds with Austin Baatz taking second place at 195 pounds

NFDL/Springs: Marcus Orlandoni won the championship at 220 pounds with Andrew Forsythe placing third at 145 pounds and Dalton Fritch placing fifth at 160 pounds.

WLA: Ryan Jacobs placed third at 285 pounds.

Men’s College Basketball:


Concordia-Wisconsin 81, Marian 66

–Tristan Van Ess scored 16 points to lead the Sabres in the loss.


UW-Whitewater 83, Ripon College 61

–Kyle Rutkowski, Trent Jones and Cal Schultz each scored 12 points for the Red Hawks in the loss to the Warhawks.

–Paris Harris scored 14 points for the Sabres in the loss
