>>Bucks, Heat Play Back-To-Back Series At AmericanAirlines Arena

(Miami, FL)  —  The Milwaukee Bucks start a back-to-back road series in Miami tonight (Tuesday) 6:30.  The Bucks will be playing the Miami Heat – the team that ended their season in the playoffs last time, The NBA hasn’t done this kind of scheduling before, but the coaches seem to like it.  It cuts down on the travel and limits the exposure of players to outside sources of the coronavirus.  The Bucks are still adjusting to several new faces on the roster. Counting the brief preseason, they’ve lost five-out-of-six games this season. They have every reason to want a little revenge against Miami. Coverage starts at 6 PM on KFIZ.

>>Brewers Need More Hitting, But Lorenzo Cain Could Help With That

(Milwaukee, WI)  —  The 2020 season made it obvious the Milwaukee Brewers need more hitting, but one guy already on the roster could help with that.  Lorenzo Cain sat out the shortened season due to COVID-19.  Though he hasn’t committed to playing in 2021, his manager expects him to show up. Cain is a Gold Glove-caliber center fielder and a strong lead-off man.  If he returns at top form and Christian Yelich becomes the player he was before signing the big contract, many of the team’s offensive problems just go away.  Moving Avisail Garcia out of center and to a more normal corner position might help him regain the stroke that resulted in a .330 batting average in the 2017 season.

>>Wisconsin Men Fall In Hockey Poll; Women Still No. 1

(Madison, WI)  —  When the Wisconsin men’s hockey team starts the 2021 portion of the season it will be ranked number-14 in the country.  The Badgers haven’t played since December 4th and this will be only the second time in the last seven years the Badgers have been in the top 20 at the start of a calendar year.  Wisconsin returns to practice this week, getting ready for a return to action January 9th and 10th at home against number-one Minnesota. Wisconsin’s women’s hockey remains in the top position on the latest USCO poll. They haven’t played a game in more than a month after having three series postponed.
