Fond du Lac 63, Manitowoc Lincoln 7

–Kyle Walljasper ran for three touchdowns and threw for two more as the Cardinals cruised past the Ships on the road in the spring season opener for both teams. 

Manitowoc Lincoln scored on the second play from scrimmage on a 58 yard run by Brett Prange, but Fondy scored 63 unanswered points as they rolled to a win. 

Walljasper scored on touchdown runs of 83, 2, and 32 yards and tossed a pair of touchdown passes to Tyler Collien to lead Fondy in the win. 

Braelon Allen added four rushing touchdowns of his own – including three in the first quarter – and intercepted a pass on defense for Fond du Lac. 

The Cardinals play Neenah on Thursday, the game will be played at Kiel High School.

–Ben Wellhoefer ran for three touchdowns as the Foxes beat the Ledgers in the season opener for both teams. David Mueller returned a kickoff 85 yards for a score, and Isaac Hyland ran for a score in the loss for Springs.
