–Orlando Arcia scored on a bases-loaded walk to give the Brewers a one-run win over the Cardinals at Busch Stadium in St. Louis Monday night. Milwaukee took a 4-3 lead in the fourth on a two-run single from Manny Pina before St. Louis tied the game in the ninth on a Dexter Fowler Sacrifice Fly that scored Luke Weaver. Eric Sogard went 3 for 4 with two doubles in the win for the Brewers, who improved to 6-5 on the year. Game two of the series is tonight, coverage on KFIZ and the Brewers Radio Network starts at 6:40 pm.

NBA:

–Eric Bledsoe posted a triple-double of 20 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists as the Bucks blasted the Magic at the Bradley Center Monday night. Shabazz Muhammad led all scorers with 22 points off the bench, while Khris Middleton added 18 for Milwaukee who moved into the #6 seed in the Eastern Conference by themselves with a loss by Miami. The Bucks are 44-37 and close out the regular season at Philadelphia Wednesday night.

College Basketball:

UW-Oshkosh Men’s Basketball coach Pat Juckem has been named this year’s recipient of the Jack Bennett Man of the Year award by CollegeInsider.com. Juckem led the Titans to a 25-8 record and a trip to the NCAA Division Three National Championship game for the first time in school history and a #2 overall ranking in the final D3 Top 25 poll of the year. Juckem has guided Oshkosh to a 95-73 record in six seasons at the school. The award, which represents “winning with integrity” is named for former UW-Stevens Point head coach Jack Bennett.

NFL:

Packers receiver Trevor Davis was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport Sunday and charged with making “criminal threats” after joking about a bomb threat at the airport. Davis was taken into custody and released, pending an appearance in court on May 3rd. Police say Davis was checking in at the Hawaiian Airlines ticket counter when he was asked if he was carrying any aerosol cans, knives, weapons or explosives. Davis reportedly turned to his female companion and asked if she “remembered to pack the explosives”. The Packers say they are aware of the incident and are gathering more information about it.

Men’s College Volleyball:

The Marian Men’s Volleyball team competes in the inaugural NACC Tournament tonight at the Sadoff Gym in Fond du Lac. The 4th-seeded Sabres play host to fifth seed Aurora tonight at 7pm. The winner advances to play top-seed Dominican in the semifinals on Thursday.
