The Brewers are 3-0 after sweeping San Diego to begin the year while St. Louis salvaged the final game of their three-game series with the New York Mets Sunday to sit at 1-2. NBA:

–Eric Bledsoe scored 31 points, Giannis Antetokounmpo added a double-double of 18 points and 12 rebounds in the loss for Milwaukee. The Bucks led by as many as 18 points early in the fourth quarter and by eight points with a minute left in regulation, but the Nuggets stormed back to tie it with two seconds left on three free-throws from Jamal Murray. The loss puts the Bucks back into a tie with Miami for the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference with five games left to play. Milwaukee hosts Boston on Tuesday.

Notre Dame 61, Mississippi State 58

–Arike Ogunbowale beat the buzzer again, this time with under a second left to give Notre Dame the National Championship. Ogunbowale hit the game-winner in Friday’s semifinal matchup with Uconn to send the Irish to the title game.
