High School Sports – Tuesday’s Results: 

Boys Soccer: 

Fond du Lac 3, Sturgeon Bay 0

Waupun 10, Lomira 1

–Trevor Roecker scored six goals for the Warriors in the win

Girls Golf: 

Fond du Lac shot a 205 in a meet against Stevens Point and Appleton North on Tuesday. Tessa Wirtz had the low individual score for the Cardinals with a 47. Stevens Point had the lowest team score with a 187, with Appleton North scoring a 194. 

Cross Country: 

The Fond du Lac Boys and Girls Cross Country teams competed at the Oshkosh North meet held at Winnebago County Park on Tuesday. The Fondy girls took first place at the meet – with four runners finishing in the top seven individually. Ally Schmitz took 2nd place, Sophie Schneider 3rd, Hannah Uecker 6th and Rachel Cook 7th. 

The Fond du Lac Boys team had similar results, with individual finishers placing 1st, 3rd, 4th and 6th place. Charlie Quast took first place, Grant Long third, Nikolas Golke fourth and Nathan Ott sixth.

–The Brewers got home runs from Billy McKinney and Jace Peterson and another masterful performance from Corbin Burnes as they took game two of the series against the Padres Tuesday night. Burnes threw six shutout innings, giving up four hits and striking out 10, lowering his earned run average to 0.37 on the season. The series wraps up this afternoon – Adrian Houser goes for the Brewers against Dinelson Lamet. First pitch is 3:10 PM.
