Eastern Conference Semifinals:

Boston 112, Milwaukee 90

–Kyrie Irving scored 26 points, Al Horford added 20 as the Celtics stole game one of their series with the Bucks at Fiserv Forum Sunday afternoon. Milwaukee was led by 22 points from Giannis Antetokounmpo, and 16 points and 10 rebounds from Khris Middleton – but it was 34.8 percent shooting from the floor that doomed them in the loss. Game two is Tuesday in Milwaukee with tipoff at 7pm.

Western Conference Semifinals:

Golden State 104, Houston 100

–Warriors lead the series 1-0, Game two is Tuesday.

Major League Baseball:

National League:

NY Mets 5, Milwaukee 2

–The Brewers gave up three late runs and lost 5-2 to the Mets in New York.  Mike Moustakas tied it for Milwaukee with a two-run homer in the seventh, but the Crew gave up an unearned run in the bottom half and two more in the eighth. Jacob Barnes was saddled with the loss.

The Brewers are back home tonight to begin a four-game series with the Rockies. Jhoulys Chacin starts for Milwaukee and Kyle Freeland for Colorado. The Brewers are 15-and-14, three games behind the first-place Cardinals in the NL Central. First pitch is 6:40 PM – listen on KFIZ following High School Baseball

Brewers star Christian Yelich is day-to-day with a sore lower back.  He was injured on a stolen base attempt in the fourth inning when he stopped awkwardly on a foul ball and came out of the game an inning later.  Manager Craig Counsell says he doesn’t believe it’s serious.
