Fond du Lac defeated Oshkosh North in an FVA dual meet at Rolling Meadows Golf Course on Thursday, scoring a 180 to the Spartans’ 233. Wyatt Pfieffer shot a 41 to lead the Cardinals

Milwaukee 2, LA Dodgers 1

–Travis Shaw’s two-run home run in the fourth inning was the difference as the Brewers won a low-scoring affair against the Dodgers at American Family Field on Thursday night. Eric Lauer earned the victory for Milwaukee – tossing five scoreless innings with three strikeouts. Josh Hader earned the save, despite giving up a run in the ninth. Game two of the series is tonight – first pitch is 7:10 PM.

NBA: 

Houston 143, Milwaukee 136

–Khris Middleton scored 33 points, with Jrue Holiday adding 29 but it wasn’t enough to put the Bucks in the win column Thursday night in Houston. The Rockets were red hot shooting the basketball in the game – making 25 three-pointers, and getting 50 points from Kevin Porter Jr to lead the way. Giannis Antetokounmpo left the game in the first few minutes of action with a sprained ankle and did not return. Milwaukee is back in action tonight against Chicago.
