Girls Golf – WIAA Sectionals: 

Three golfers from Fond du Lac High School competed at the Bay Port sectional, hosted at the Brown County Golf Course in Hobart on Monday. Seniors Tessa Wirtz and Shefali Bhatt each scored a 96 to tie for 26th place, while sophomore Sidney Doyle placed 42nd with a 110. 

Boys Golf: 

Fond du Lac won an FVA dual meet over Neenah at Ridgeway Golf Course in Neenah on Monday, 170 to 179. Wyatt Pfeiffer had the low score for the Cardinals with a 35

St. Mary’s Springs won a Flyway Conference “Mini Meet” at Whispering Springs Golf Course on Monday. The Ledgers shot a 170 and had three of the top four finishers individually. Teddy Schumacher took first place with a 39, Donovan McGalloway tied for 2nd with a 42, with Brady Welsch placing fourth with a 43. WLA’s Jaysen Spanbauer also shot a 42 to tie McGalloway for second. 

NBA:

San Antonio 146, Milwaukee 125

–Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 28 points, but it was the Bucks’ defense that let them down in the end in a loss to the Spurs in San Antonio Monday night. The Spurs shot 58 percent from three point range, going 17-of-29 from beyond the arc. Patty Mills scored 20 points, making six threes off the bench. The Bucks have four games left in the regular season – including tonight’s home game against Orlando. Tipoff is 8 PM.
