–Sean Meyer went 4-for-6 with a pair of home runs, driving in six runs as the Sabres won a slugfest over the Muskies in their tournament opener. Marian will play Concordia-Wisconsin in the winners bracket at 2 PM today. A win puts the Sabres in Championship Sunday, a loss means they’ll play an elimination game at 6 pm tonight.

Atlanta 6, Milwaukee 3

–The Braves got back-to-back solo home runs from Marcell Ozuna and Ozzie Albies to break the game open in the fifth inning as they won the series opener against the Brewers at American Family Field. Luis Urias had a pair of hits, including a solo home run in the ninth, but it wasn’t enough to help the Brewers in the loss. 

Milwaukee has lost nine of their last 12 games, and is 1-and-3 on their current homestand. They’ll go for a win tonight in game two of the series – Brett Anderson gets the start against Ian Anderson for Atlanta. First pitch is 6:10, radio coverage starts at 5:35 on KFIZ.
