–Kyra Wiechman scored three goals and assisted on another in the win for the Vikings.

Track & Field:

Division 1 Regionals (at Neenah):

For the sixth straight year, the Fond du Lac Boys Track & Field team are Regional Champions. The Cardinals scored 155 points to take first, Neenah was second with 144 points, Oshkosh North third with 95.

The Fond du Lac Girls Track & Field team took second place with 111 points. Neenah was first with 166.50.  

Fondy’s Andrew Stone took first place in the Shot Put with a throw of 56-08. Colton Wasieleski was third in the shot put with a throw of 51-05. Stone also took first in the discus with a throw of 165-06. Brooke McDowell took first place in the 100 meter hurdles (16.22) and the 300 meter hurdles (48.35). Fondy also took second place in the 300 meter hurdles (49.38). Fondy’s 4X100 meter relay team took first place with a time of 45.03, and the 4X800 relay team also took first with a time of 8:52.58

Division 2 Regionals (At Ripon):

The Ripon boys track & field team won the Regional Championship with 141 points. Waupun was second with 114, Kewaskum third (102), North Fond du Lac fourth (79), Winnebago Lutheran and Mayville tied for fifth (58), Laconia seventh (41), Campbellsport eighth (32), Lomira ninth (23), St. Lawrence Seminary 10th (10).

The Mayville girls track & field team won the Regional Championship with 127 points, Waupun was second (99.5), Kewaskum third (84.5), Laconia fourth (83), Winnebago Lutheran fifth (79), Lomira sixth (64), Ripon seventh (48), North Fond du Lac eighth (44), Campbellsport ninth (7).

Pole Vault events were postponed to today because of the weather

Division 3 Regionals (At Pardeeville):

The St. Mary’s Springs boys and girls track teams swept the Regional Championships at Pardeeville. The Ledger girls scored 162 to take first place with Princeton/Green Lake in second place with 110,5 and Ozaukee third with 105.33. The Ledger boys scored 146 to take first place over Dodgeland, who came in second with 90 points. Host Pardeeville was third with 88.33 points.

–LeBron James scored 44 to lead the Cavaliers to a win in game four of the series with Boston. The series is tied 2-2 with game five Wednesday in Boston.

Tonight is game four of the Western Conference Finals as Houston visits Golden State. The Warriors hold a 2-1 series lead.
