–Mets Left Fielder Brandon Nimmo went four for four with a two doubles and a triple as the Mets shut out the Brewers at Miller Park in game one of their series Thursday night. Zach Davies allowed four runs on six hits in just four innings on the mound to take the loss. Game two of the series is tonight, first pitch is 7:10 on KFIZ

NFL:

Former Jacksonville tight end Marcedes Lewis announced on social media Thursday that he is signing with the Packers. Lewis posted a photo of him signing his Packers’ contract on Instagram and the news was confirmed by NFL.com. Lewis was released in March after starting 157 games over 12 seasons with the Jaguars. He caught 24 passes for 318 yards and five touchdowns for Jacksonville in 2017.

NBA Playoffs:

Western Conference Finals – Game 5:

Houston 98, Golden State 94

–Eric Gordon scored 24 points off the bench to lead Houston to the win and a 3-2 series lead. Game six is Saturday at Golden State.

Tonight is game six of the Eastern Conference Finals as Cleveland hosts Boston. The Celtics hold a 3-2 series lead and can close out the series with a win tonight.

Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Bucks was named second team All-NBA Thursday, the second straight year Giannis was named to the All-NBA Second Team. Giannis is the first Bucks player since Sidney Moncrief in 1984-85 and 1985-86 to make the All-NBA team in back-to-back seasons.
