–Morgan Flaherty tossed a complete-game shutout, giving up one hit and striking out 11 for the Cardinals in the win.

–Ella Guelig had two hits on offense, and struck out 11 in the pitcher’s circle for Springs as they topped the Spartans.

–Another late-inning rally falls short for the Brewers, as they dropped Tuesday night’s game against the Phillies. Milwaukee trailed 6-1 going into the seventh inning, and used a four-run frame to pull within a run but couldn’t complete the comeback. Jackie Bradley Jr. hit a two-run homer as part of that seventh inning for the Brewers. Andrew McCutchen hit a pair of solo home runs in the win for the Phillies. Game three of the series is tonight – first pitch is at 6:05, radio coverage starts at 5:30 on KFIZ.

–Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 36 points and grabbed 12 rebounds as the Bucks completed the sweep of the back-to-back series with the Nets at Fiserv Forum. Jrue Holiday added 23 points and 10 assists, while Khris Middleton chipped in 23 points of his own in the win. The victory clinches a playoff spot for the fifth straight season for the Bucks. Milwaukee hosts Washington tonight – tipoff is 7 PM.
