–The Moose is loose again. Mike Moustakas hit a tie breaking two-run home run in the top of the 14th inning to put the Brewers in front and help them split the two-game series with the Astros. The Brewers got solo home runs from Ryan Braun and Yasmani Grandal early, then fell behind after a three run fourth inning by the Astros. Eric Thames tied the game in the seventh inning with a solo home run of his own and the game remained scoreless until the 14th when Moose homered and Jesus Aguilar hit a run-scoring single. Adrian Houser picked up the win in relief – throwing two innings, with three strikeouts. Justin Verlander struck out a career-best 15 batters in his start for the Astros, but did not factor into the decision.

The Brewers open a three game series in San Francisco tomorrow night. First pitch is 9:15 central time.
