–Audrey Schumacher and Maddie Loehr each had three hits, while Schumacher tossed a complete-game shutout as the Vikings topped the Spartans to advance to Wednesday’s Regional Final against Brillion.

–Chilton hosts Valders in a Regional Final on Wednesday

Lomira 19, Cedar Grove-Belgium 0 (3 Innings)

–The Lions exploded for 16 runs in the second inning as they blew out the Rockets. Lomira hosts Shoreland Lutheran in a Regional Final on Wednesday

–Campbellsport hosts Mayville in a Regional Final on Wednesday

Division 4:

–Stockbridge/Hilbert hosts Roncalli in a Regional Final on Wednesday

Division 5:

–Oakfield hosts Reedsville in a Regional Final on Wednesday

Boys Golf – WIAA D3 State Meet: 

Teddy Schumacher from St. Mary’s Springs is tied for seventh place after day one of the WIAA D-3 State Meet at Trapper’s Turn Golf Club in Wisconsin Dells. Schumacher shot a seven-over-par 79 on day one. 

Trey Oswald of Parkview tops the leaderboard with a two-over 74, while Lancaster’s Noah Kirsch is in second with a 76. Round two of the meet is today. 

WIAA Track & Field Regionals: 

Division 1 Regional – Hosted by Sheboygan North: 

The Fond du Lac Girls Track & Field team won the Regional Championship at Monday’s meet at Sheboygan North, scoring 198 team points. The Fondy boys team took second place at the regional meet with 127 team points.

Division 2 Regional – Hosted by Kewaskum: 

Kewaskum swept both team titles in the boys and girls standings at their home regional on Monday, with the boys scoring 191 points and the girls 182. 

Laconia was second in the girls standings with 103 points, Mayville was third, Ripon fourth and Campbellsport was fifth. 

Waupun took second place on the boys side with 99 team points, Mayville was third, North Fond du Lac fourth, and Campbellsport fifth.

Division 3 Regional – Hosted by Living Word Lutheran:

The Winnebago Lutheran Boys Track Team won the Regional Championship at Monday’s competition, scoring 84 team points. The WLA girls placed fifth with 78 points. 

In the Boys standings, Central Wisconsin Christian took third place with 70 team points, while St. Mary’s Springs was sixth with 64 points. Oakfield placed 12th in the boys events. 

In the Girls standings, St. Mary’s Springs finished fourth as a team with 79 team points, Central Wisconsin Christian was sixth with 75 points, and Oakfield was 11th with 14 points.

–Seth Sweet-Chick collected three hits, while former Oshkosh West standout Riley Frey tossed six shutout innings, as the Dock Spiders beat the Pit Spitters on the road. The two teams play again tonight – first pitch is 6:35 PM.

–Daniel Vogelbach’s solo home run in the first inning was one of the few highlights of the night for the Brewers as they lost the series opener with the Reds at American Family Field on Monday night. Joey Votto had a pair of hits and drove in three runs for Cincinnati in the victory. The two teams meet again tonight – first pitch is 7:10 PM. No radio coverage due to the Bucks’ playoff game.
