Division 1 Results:

Fond du Lac’s Andrew Stone is the State Champion in the boys Shot Put. Stone had a throw of 63’10” to claim the title. Fellow Cardinal Colton Wasieleski placed sixth in the shot put event with a final throw of 53’04”.

Fond du Lac’s Madison Hughes placed 14th in the girls 3,200 meter run with a time of 11:39.99

Division 2 Results:

Waupun’s Josh McLinn placed sixth in the Boys 800 meter run with a time of 1:58.77.

Chilton’s Cody Gebhart is the State Champion in the boys Discus Throw with a final throw of 181-05.

Laconia’s Taylor VandeBerg finished tied for 14th in the girls High Jump with a final jump of 4-10.00

North Fond du Lac’s Frannie Sokolik finished 8th in the girls long jump with a jump of 16-10.50

Waupun’s Sydney Flier placed 11th in the girls shot put with a throw of 36’00”.75

Division 3 Results:

Isaac Shannon of St. Mary’s Springs placed fifth in the boys 1,600 meter run with a time of 4:29.46.

Lexi Franz of St. Mary’s Springs tied for seventh in the girls High Jump with a jump of 4-10.00.

Track & Field events continue at the State Meet today in La Crosse.

–The Brewers led 3-0 early, but let that slip away as the White Sox won game one of their interleague series with Milwaukee on Friday night. Ryan Braun homered and Travis Shaw went 2 for 3 at the plate in the loss for the Brewers. Game two of the series is this afternoon, coverage on KFIZ and the Brewers Radio Network starts at 12:35 pm, first pitch at 1:10.
