Boys Highlights: 

Fond du Lac senior David McArthur took sixth place in the 300 meter hurdles. 

Fond du Lac’s 4×200 meter relay team of Moe Craine Jr., Tyler Collien, Kyle Walljasper, David McArthur, William Griesemer and D’Sean Carey placed 20th

Freshman Matthew Rusch placed 9th in the Discus Throw and 12th in the Shot Put

Girls Highlights: 

Fond du Lac’s Emily Elford placed sixth in the 200 meter dash and ninth in the 100 meter dash

Fondy’s Ally Schmitz placed 10th in the 400 meter dash and 10th in the 800 meter run

Fondy’s Sydney Arndt took second place in the 100 meter hurdles and third place in the 300 meter hurdles. Arndt also placed sixth in the Long Jump

Fond du Lac’s 4×400 meter relay team of Emily Elford, Sydney Arndt, Sophie Schneider, Ally Schmitz, Jaimie Deschand, and Natalie Kolb placed 16th. 

Fondy’s Gianna Trotter took 9th place in the Discus and 10th place in the Triple Jump

–Jackson Loftin went 2-for-5 with a home run, driving in two runs for the Dock Spiders in the loss. The two teams play again today – first pitch is 1:05 PM from Herr-Baker Field.

–The Brewers scored six runs in the eighth inning to break the game open as they took game two of the weekend series against the Rockies Saturday afternoon at American Family Field. 

Avisail Garcia tied the game in the seventh with a solo home run, then with the bases loaded and nobody out in the eighth, the Brewers got to work – getting a sacrifice fly from Omar Narvaez, a two-run single from Luis Urias, a two-run home run from Christian Yelich and a run-scoring double from Willy Adames to turn a tie game into a six-run lead. Brad Boxberger got the win in relief for his third victory of the season. 

The Brewers try for a sweep this afternoon – first pitch is 1:10 PM, with radio coverage starting at 12:35 on KFIZ.
