–The Vikings scored two runs in the top of the fifth inning and held on for a non-conference victory over Valders. WLA finishes the regular season a perfect 20-0. 

St. Mary’s Springs 8, Horicon 5

–Allie Waechter clubbed a Grand Slam in the top of the 7th inning to put the Ledgers in front for good in their win over Horicon

Girls Soccer:

Boys Golf – WIAA Sectionals: 

Division 3 Sectional – hosted by St. Mary’s Springs: 

The St. Mary’s Springs Boys Golf Team finished in third place at their home sectional on Monday, scoring a 345 to finish three strokes back of a trip to state as a team. 

Teddy Schumacher finished in a three-way tie for fourth place with an 82, good enough to qualify him for the WIAA State Meet as an individual. Donovan McGalloway was one shot back with an 83 to tie for seventh place. Kohler won the sectional with a 340, Racine Lutheran was second with a 342. 

Boys Tennis – WIAA Sub-Sectionals: 

Fond du Lac High School’s #1 doubles team of Oscar Garcia and Isaac Dreifuerst advanced out of the subsectional hosted by West Bend West on Monday. The duo will compete at the sectional hosted by Oshkosh North on Thursday. 

Track & Field: 

FVA Girls Conference Meet: 

Fond du Lac placed third at the FVA Girls Conference meet at Appleton East High School on Monday, scoring 107 team points. Fondy’s Emily Elford won the conference championship in the 100 meter dash, while Sydney Arndt won the title in both the 100 meter hurdles and the 300 meter hurdles.

Flyway Conference Meet: 

Laconia won the Conference Championship on the girls side, while Omro took home the team title on the Boys side. 

In the girls standings – Laconia scored 139 team points to take first, with Winnebago Lutheran second with 115, and St. Mary’s Springs third with 108.5

In the boys standings – Omro scored 178 team points to take first, with Mayville second with 136, Winnebago Lutheran was third with 99 points and North Fond du Lac fourth with 96.

–The Dock Spiders scored three runs in the eighth inning to tie the game, and pushed a single run across in the ninth to complete the comeback at top the Kingfish on the road. Fondy travels to Wisconsin Rapids tonight – first pitch is 6:05 PM.

Eastern Conference Semifinals – Game 2: 

Brooklyn 125, Milwaukee 86

–The Bucks were doomed by another cold shooting performance and were blown out by the Nets in Game Two of the Eastern Conference Semifinals in Brooklyn Monday night. 

Milwaukee shot just 44-percent from the floor and made only 8 of 27 three point shots in the loss. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the way with 18 points and 11 rebounds for the Bucks. Kevin Durant scored 32 points, with Kyrie Irving adding 22 in the win for Brooklyn. 

The series shifts to Milwaukee for games three and four – Game Three is Thursday night, tipoff is set for 6:30 PM.
