–The Cardinals advance to play at Appleton East in a Regional Final on Saturday

–The Tigers advance to play at Plymouth in a Regional Semifinal on Thursday

Boys Golf – WIAA Sectionals: 

Division Two Sectional – Hosted by North Fond du Lac: 

The Waupun Boys Golf Team placed sixth, while Lomira placed 10th at the North Fond du Lac Sectional at Whispering Springs Golf Club on Tuesday. The Warriors shot a 380 as a team, led by Ayden Enders who scored an 89 to tie for 23rd. The Lions shot a 400 as a team, led by Pierce Zimmel who finished in a three-way tie for 12th with an 85. 

Campbellsport’s Luke Eichstedt tied for 10th individually with an 84. Bennett Glidden from Chilton and Elijah Meyer from New Holstein both carded a 100, with New Holstein’s Adam Scholz scoring a 105. 

University School of Milwaukee won the sectional title, scoring a 327 to advance to state. Kettle Moraine Lutheran scored a 330 to place second and also qualify for state. 

Track & Field: 

FVA Boys Meet – at Neenah: 

Fond du Lac placed sixth at the FVA Conference Meet on Tuesday, scoring 46 team points. Highlighting the meet for the Cardinals was a second place finish by David McArthur in the 300 meter hurdles, a second place finish by the 4×200 relay team, and a third place finish by the 4×100 relay team.

East Central Conference Meet – at Kewaskum:

In the girls standings – Campbellsport placed sixth with 38 team points, Waupun was seventh with 32 points and Ripon eighth with 31. Winneconne won the East Central Conference title on the girls side. 

Campbellsport’s Kendra Hewitt won the conference championship in the Pole Vault. 

Ripon’s Celina Lopez won the conference title in the Long Jump and the Triple Jump

On the boys side – Waupun placed sixth with 53.5 team points, Campbellsport was seventh with 29 and Ripon eighth with 24. Kewaskum claimed the boys conference crown in the ECC. 

Waupun’s Rhyer Smit won the conference championship in the 400 meters, and placed second in the 800 meters.

Trailways Conference Meet – at Palmyra Eagle: 

Central Wisconsin Christian took third place in the girls’ conference meet on Tuesday, scoring 60 team points. The Crusader boys placed eighth with 41 team points.

Olivia Ruis (300 meter hurdles), the 4×400 meter relay team, and Maddy Friese (High Jump) won conference titles for the CWC girls team

The CWC boys 4×200 & 4×400 meter relay teams won conference titles at their respective events. 

Oakfield placed 18th in both the boys and girls standings at the Trailways Meet on Tuesday

–Connor Manthey went 2-for-5 with a pair of doubles as the Dock Spiders topped the Rafters on the road. The two teams meet again tonight at Herr-Baker Field – first pitch is 6:35 PM.

–Avisail Garcia had a pair of hits, including a solo home run, to help lift the Brewers past the Reds in the series opener Tuesday night in Cincinnati. Milwaukee has won 10 of their last 11 games heading into game two tonight – first pitch is 6:10, with radio coverage starting at 5:35 on KFIZ.
