High School Football: 

The South beat the North 35-16 in the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association “8-Man” football All-Star Game at Titan Stadium in Oshkosh on Friday. Coby Liebelt and Blake Justmann represented Oakfield High School on the field, while Oaks’ head coach Corey Rickert served as an assistant coach on the south team’s staff. 

The WFCA All-Star games continue today in Oshkosh, with the “Small” school game at 2 PM and the “Large” school game at 6 PM. 

Brayden Boldt and Levi Liedke are representing Fond du Lac High School on the field in the “Large” school game – while Fondy assistant coach Nate Wara is on the large schools coaching staff. 

American Legion Baseball: 

The Fond du Lac Post 75, 17-U team began regional play with a 6-5 win over Hartland at EJ Schneider Field in Oshkosh. Post 75 will be back in action today at 2 PM.

–Willy Adames drove in four runs, falling a triple short of the cycle, as the Brewers rallied to beat the Reds in the series opener in Cincinnati Friday night. Milwaukee trailed 4-1 early, and faced a 5-3 deficit going into the sixth inning when they scored three times to take a 6-5 lead. The Brewers would then score five more runs in the eighth to put the game out of reach. Adames, Avisail Garcia and Luis Urias hit home runs in the win for Milwaukee – which extended their lead over the Reds in the National League Central standings to five games. 

Game two of the series is tonight – first pitch is 6:10 PM, no radio broadcast on KFIZ due to the NBA Finals.
