High School Football; 

The 2019 Wisconsin Football Coaches Association All-Star Games are being played at Titan Stadium in Oshkosh today. Participating in the games from the Fond du Lac area include – Eben Sauer from Fond du Lac High School in the “Large” schools game, Mitch Waechter and Jacob Schrauth from St. Mary’s Springs in the “Small” schools game, and Michael Kottke from Oakfield in the Eight Player game. The Eight Player game starts at 10 am, with the Small Schools game at 1:30 pm, and the Large Schools game at 5 pm.

–Rosendale/Brandon advances to play St. Mary Catholic at 7 pm tonight. St. Mary’s Springs will play Little Chute in an elimination game at 1 pm this afternoon.

–The Dock Spiders scored five runs in the seventh inning to help defeat the Booyah and snap their five-game losing streak. Charlie Maxwell and Aaron Anderson each drove in two runs in that seventh inning for Fondy. The Dock Spiders travel to Madison tonight – first pitch is 6:05 pm, listen on KFIZ.com.

Christian Yelich hit a mammoth 459-foot home run in the seventh inning for home run #35 on the season.
