–Brewers starter Freddy Peralta gave up only four hits, but the Nationals scored seven runs as Washington won the series finale at Miller Park Wednesday afternoon. Peralta issued a pair of walks and hit a batter in the first inning before Daniel Murphy hit a two-run single. Another run would then score on a wild pitch, Bryce Harper would then hit his 25th home run of the season – a three-run blast – in the fifth inning to give the Nationals at 6-0 lead. Down 7-0 in the ninth, Hernan Perez would hit a three-run shot of his own, but that’s all the Brewers could muster offensively in the loss.
