–McGuire Holbrook had a pair of hits, and Ryan Lasko clubbed a solo home run as the Dock Spiders won over the Chinooks at home on Friday night. 

Fond du Lac made more history on the diamond in Friday’s game – breaking the single-season record for most stolen bases by a team, with 193 stolen bases this season. The previous record was set in 1996 by Waterloo. 

The Dock Spiders hit the road to Wisconsin Rapids tonight – first pitch is 6:35 PM.

Milwaukee 9, Atlanta 5

–The Brewers fell behind 4-0 after the first inning, but bounced back with consecutive four-run innings of their own as they won the series opener against the Braves in Atlanta Friday night. 

Milwaukee got three home runs in the game – a three-run blast from Avisail Garcia in the third to tie the score, then a two-run blast from Willy Adames in the fourth to put the Brewers up by three runs. Newcomer Eduardo Escobar clubbed a solo homer in the ninth in his first game with the team to close out the scoring. 

Brad Boxberger got the win in relief – tossing two scoreless innings for his fourth victory of the season. Corbin Burnes gave up five runs on nine hits in just four innings and did not factor into the decision. 

The series continues tonight – first pitch is 6:20 PM, with radio coverage starting at 5:45 on KFIZ.
