>>Bucks Go For Third Straight Win In Playoff Series Against Orlando

(Lake Buena Vista, FL)  —  The Orlando Magic know what they have to do to beat Milwaukee – avoid turnovers, limit transition points for the Bucks, get good ball movement, be aggressive on the board and don’t foul so much.  The problem is, that’s hard to do when the Bucks are on their game.  Eric Bledsoe was disruptive on defense and Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 35 points, had 17 rebounds and seven assists in Saturday’s 121-107 Milwaukee win.  Nikola Vucevic was held to 20 points after scoring more than 30 in the first two games of the series.  Tip-off for game four of the first-round series at Disney’s Wide World of Sports is at 12:30 p-m today (Monday). Coverage on KFIZ begins at Noon.

>>Packers Among Several NFL Teams Getting False-Positive COVID-19 Test Results

(Green Bay, WI)  —  Green Bay Packers coach Matt LaFleur confirms his team was one of several NFL teams receiving false-positive reports from a New Jersey lab on COVID-19 tests.  Nearly one-third of the NFL teams got the mistaken results from BioReference lab.  LaFleur says a couple of his players were affected.  The Chicago Bears reported they had nine positive test results – but all nine were found to be false-positives.  No individual Green Bay players had to be held out of Sunday’s practice and all Packers are expected to be on the field again this (Monday) morning.

>>Former Packers Favre, Nelson Inducted Into Wisconsin Athletic Hall Of Fame

(Oconomowoc, WI)  —  Two big-name players from the Green Bay Packers glory years have been inducted into the Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame.  Brett Favre and Jordy Nelson were honored in Oconomowoc last Friday.  Favre set an NFL record by playing in 299 consecutive games, won the MVP Award three seasons in a row, and led the team to a Super Bowl Championship in January 1997.  He’s been a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame since 2016.  Nelson played with the Packers for 10 years, ranks third in franchise history with 550 receptions and is the only Packer player to put up three seasons of 13 or more touchdown receptions.  Another former Packers wide receiver, Donald Driver, emceed the ceremony.

>>Big Ten Basketball:  3 Badgers Make All-Big Ten Preseason Teams

(Chicago, IL)  —  Three Wisconsin Badgers have been named to the All-Big Ten Preseason teams – led by D’Mitrik Trice.  Trice is the senior point guard for coach Greg Gard’s team.  He averaged nearly 10 points, four assists and four rebounds-a-game last year.  Trice was named to the second team.  Senior frontcourt standouts Nate Reuvers and Micah Potter were named to the third team.  Reuvers averaged 13 points-a-game, while Potter came onboard in mid-season to average 10 points-a-game and shoot 45 percent on 3-pointers.  The Badgers are one of the preseason favorites for a Big Ten basketball title.  They have seven seniors on the roster.
