–Morgan Fryman had 17 assists and five aces for the Cougars, Shayley Narges added 10 kills and six blocks.

–Up 21-10 late in the second quarter, the Packers were outscored 23-0 by the Chiefs the rest of the way as they lose the preseason finale Thursday night in Kansas City. Tim Boyle threw for a 127 yards and a touchdown but two interceptions in the loss, while Aaron Jones had nine carries for 34 yards and a score. Green Bay hosts Chicago on September 9th on hte season opener.

–Lorenzo Cain’s solo home run in the top of the 11th gave the Brewers another extra-innings win over the Reds Thursday afternoon in Cincinnati. Brewers starter Wade Miley turned in a quality performance in a no decision, allowing a run on five hits in 7 & ⅓ innings. Milwaukee opens a weekend series in Washington tonight – first pitch is 6:10 pm. No broadcast on KFIZ.
