MILWAUKEE GRABS WIN #81 ON THE ROAD
Milwaukee jumped on San Francisco early and never looked back, picking up win #81 and beating the Giants 6-2. Brandon Woodruff pitched six strong innings, giving up 5 hits, 1 earned run, walking 3 and striking out 8. Milwaukee now holds a 10-game division lead on the Cincinnati Reds, the first time in a decade that has happened, and only the second time in franchise history. TIMBER RATTLERS SCORE WALK OFF WIN AT HOME
The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers returned home after a two-week road trip to Iowa and gave the home fans plenty to cheer in an 8-7, ten-inning victory over the Beloit Snappers on Tuesday night at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium. Ashton McGee drove in the winning run with a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the tenth.
