–The Moose was loose in Miami – twice. Mike Moustakas hit two home runs, including a two-run shot in the top of the ninth that helped the Brewers win their sixth game in a row and third straight over Miami. Moose’s three-run homer in the third inning put the Brewers back in front after they fell behind 2-1 in the second inning. Trent Grisham hit a lead-off home run to start the scoring in the game. With the win and the Cubs’ loss, the Brewers move into a tie with Chicago for the second Wild Card spot. The Brewers and Marlins wrap up their series today – Gio Gonzalez starts for Milwaukee against Caleb Smith for Miami, coverage starts at 11:35 this morning, first pitch is 12:10 on KFIZ.

MLB News: 

One day after losing Christian Yelich for the season, the Brewers got some good news in the form of rookie Keston Hiura being activated off of the Injured List. Hiura had been placed on the injured list on August 31st with a left hamstring strain. The 23-year-old was hitting .301 with 16 home runs and 43 RBI at the time of his injury.
