>>Long List Of NFL Injuries Doesn’t Include Packers – Maybe

(Green Bay, WI)  —  Week Two of the NFL season saw a lot of important players sidelined by injuries.  The Packers may be lucky on that front.  Wide receiver Davante Adams missed much of the second half of the win over Detroit with a hamstring injury.  That was mostly because Green Bay was controlling the game and he wasn’t needed.  Adams is expected to be ready for Sunday Night Football and the New Orleans Saints.  The team is still keeping a close eye on the recovery of center Corey Linsley.  He left the game with a hand injury and that might be enough to keep him out of the action.

>>Buyer Pays $1.812M For Giannis Antetokounmpo Basketball Card

(Undated)  —  Two NBA Most Valuable Player awards by the time he was 25 years old promised a big career for Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo.  He’s valuable, very valuable – and so is his basketball card.  One was just sold on the open market for one-point-812 million dollars.  That’s 12 thousand dollars more than the same buyer paid for a LeBron James card.  OnlyAlt-dot-com says its investment follows its vision of “increasing the transparency and liquidity of alternative assets.”  A little over three-point-six million dollars shows the website is willing to put its money where its business is.  The LeBron card was bought just two months ago.

>>Schedule-Maker Does Wisconsin Football Badgers A Solid

(Madison, WI)  —  The Wisconsin Badgers have to basically like the shortened 2020 schedule they have been handed.  The Big Ten Conference released schedules last weekend.  One source ranks the Badgers’ eight-game schedule the second-easiest among the 14 teams.  Key games will be at Michigan November 14th and at Iowa December 12th, the season finale.  Conference insiders say the Big Ten West title will likely be decided November 28th when Wisconsin hosts the Minnesota Gophers.  The U-W schedule doesn’t include Ohio State, Penn State, or Michigan State.  The easiest schedule?  Ohio State – the team that doesn’t really need an easy schedule.
