–Daniel Murphy and Ben Zobrist each had three hits for the Cubs as they avoided the sweep at Miller Park in the series finale with the Brewers Wednesday night. Milwaukee fell behind 4-0 and 6-1 before scoring three runs late to pull within two, but couldn’t complete the comeback. Jesus Aguilar had two hits, while Curtis Granderson hit his first home run as a Brewer as a pinch hitter in the seventh inning. Milwaukee is off today and opens a three-game series against San Francisco at Miller Park tomorrow night.
