Kleefisch Has Goal Of No State Income Tax

Republican candidate for Governor Rebecca Kleefisch wants to put the state on a path towards no income tax.

The former lieutenant governor discussed other tax proposals during a stop at Marathon County Republican Party headquarters on Thursday.

“Eliminate the tax on retirement income and we’re going to eliminate the personal property tax which is a $200 million tax on small businesses.”

Kleefisch faces pipeline construction executive Tim Michels and state Representative Tim Ramthun in the August primary.
