Kroger Now Latest To Implement Customer Counts

Kroger is now the latest chain to limit the number of shoppers entering their stores, due to COVID-19 concerns. Officials said new customer limits will be posted in their stores starting today, with an average of 1 customer per every 120 square feet. That would mean that a traditional grocery-pharmacy combo store of roughly 60,000 square feet would accommodate an average of 500 shoppers at any one time. Kroger said it’s also encouraging employees to wear protective masks and gloves, with the company providing masks nationwide for its stores. Locally, Kroger operates stores in FDL, Oshkosh, Neenah, Plymouth and West Bend.
