Kwik Trip Pulls Del Monte Vegetable Trays Over Sickness Concerns

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services is sending out warnings about Del Monte vegetable trays served at Kwik Trip locations around the state. This comes after eleven people in Wisconsin and three in Minnesota fell ill with Cyclospora infections – related to eating the food in the trays. Kwik Trip is cooperating with state officials and has pulled the product from their shelves, but symptoms may not appear until a week after eating the contaminated food. Symptoms of Cyclospora include frequent diarrhea, loss of appetite, cramping, nausea, fatigue, and low-grade fever.
