Last Day For FDL Park And Forestry Superintendent John Kiefer

It’s the last day for Fond du Lac Park and Forestry Superintendent John Kiefer. Kiefer was honored for his 24 years and 6 months with the City during the City Council meeting this week. He was presented with a copy of a proclamation and a key to the City. During his time as superintendent he’s overseen some long-standing initiatives such as the Fairgrounds Pool, new park development, channel dredging, Emerald Ash Borer response, and assisting the Lakeside Park Exploratory Committee. He will be succeeded as Park and Forestry Superintendent by John Redman.
