Late Night Accident Causes Damage But No Injuries

A two-vehicle accident Monday night caused some damage but no injuries. Fond du Lac PD was on the scene just before 10:45 p.m. Monday at the corner of E. Cotton St. and Marquette St., where it was reported a vehicle ran into a parked car. The 36-year old driver of the vehicle stated his brakes went out, causing him to strike the parked car, which then was pushed up onto the boulevard, taking out a lamp post in the process. The driver was cited for failure to maintain control of a vehicle, driving after license revocation, failure to install an ignition interlock device, as well as driving without insurance.
