Leader of Dodge County Drug Ring Sentenced

The leader of a drug ring in Beaver Dam was sentenced in
Dodge County Court Wednesday. Lacreshia Lightfoot was sentenced by Judge Martin
DeVries to six years in prison and six years of extended supervision, plus an
additional five years of probation. Prosecutors described Lightfoot as “The
central figure in a large-scale, organized drug distribution ring operating in
the City of Beaver Dam”. She was convicted of two counts of delivery of cocaine
and two counts of delivery of heroin from 2016. Informants purchased drugs from
Lightfoot and her associates. Authorities say she employed “runners” to deliver
the drugs to conceal her identity. Investigators say the one common factor in
the purchases was that Lightfoot’s cell phone was used in most of the drug
buys. Dodge County District Attorney Kurt Klomberg praised the efforts of the
Dodge County Drug Task Force, Beaver Dam Police and Wisconsin Department of
Criminal Investigation in breaking up the drug ring.
